For my first MMO review, I will start with World of Warcraft. We all know that WoW is huge and for reasons unbeknownst to me. Although I will admit, I spent hours in this game playing as both factions and the game truely sets itself apart from other MMO's.

World of Warcraft mainly appeals to the MMO gamer that likes things the easy way. The cartoonish graphics and low system requirements are one of the many aspects of WoW that have attracted its now above 10 million playerbase. I won't bore you with yet another WoW review but considering the mass of this game, I intend on revealing the Pros and Cons of this overhyped game.

One of the major flaws of WoW is its "limits". Most players like freedom and if they haven't played a game where freedom is allowed, they haven't experienced a good game. The sandbox style in which I am referring, is a style seemingly retro by today's standards and WoW is no contender for sandbox. Draw a massive world, put in classes and some bosses and you have WoW. But why do people keep paying for a limited world?

The answer is complexity. A lot of people don't like complex games with dynamics that are too difficult to figure out or take you months to master. WoW excels in ease of gameplay with point and click FPS style movement. They also allow the use of hotkeys to map your spells and abilities to and even give the ability to add more hotbars without having to download a third party UI editor.

WoW also isn't very solo friendly unless you manage to find a decent private server. Trying to find groups if you are a DPS class on the MAJORITY of WoW realms proves standing in a major city spamming for hours for a group. It is also no easier for the ones that are needed for groups like the tanks and healers. Constantly getting spammed by people to join their group and then getting ignored for not joining.

In short, WoW is very good for the new MMO player wanting to find a community to interact with. The game is easy to learn and if you are a half brain, you could be more intelligent than 70 percent of the WoW community.

PvP is something I will not discuss as there is NO SKILL required to PvP. Level up, PvP until you get your arena gear and instant domination. Especially Rogues and Warlocks.

Spread the word.

Down to the skinny. I am in need of banners for various games that should be posted here for all to see. The banners will be able to be seen on the page and are commonly known as advertisements for the companies that create them. I do not intend on making money with this blog and only want to advertise the best MMO's. If you are skilled in creating banners or know of sites in which I may obtain a banner. (see www.thenoobcomic.com, Darkfall Online banner) please message me. I look forward to making reviews for you.

Blog Created!

Good Morning MMO gamers. Today is the day that all MMO gamers shall rejoice! Today I introduce you to the one and only TRUE MMO dedicated blog, offering you reviews and downloads to only the BEST MMO's. The internet is now vastly occupied by the cheap immitations and the "candy coated" games that should not have ever had a developers hand in. Games like EUDEMONS and FLYFF. All claim to be games that can appeal to all and most importantly, don't suck. Unfortunately for us, and for those that haven't played them yet, they do suck. Worse than Paris Hilton apparently. It is my mission to go through these MMO's and offer you better reviews and comments rather than a wannabe comedian throwing out bogus one-liners and making you want to claw your eyeballs out. (The MMO Report on G4TV) So to all of you hardcore MMO fans, check back frequently, I will be posting daily on various games and will tell you aspects that make it succeed or fail.
